During the more than 10 years of teaching osteopathy, this service began as a complement to the basic training of students and has become a common option to better prepare osteopaths or osteopathy students for clinical life.
It may help to address failures in the initial training, to deepen topics of particular interest to the trainee or to address a particularly challenging clinical case.
There are 2 formats: for small groups (maximum 3) and a format for larger groups in which I will have to involve a vocational training institute, and in that case, they would have a training diploma, in the small groups no.
Small group sessions are held in my office which has limited space.
Groups are encouraged to prepare an indication of the areas in which they want help and I will answer if they are actually areas where I feel comfortable doing so.
